How can we help YOU?

How can Christians in Sport serve and support you and your church?  What do we offer?  How can we help?

Below is a brief overview of the six main ways we seek to do this:

1.    Vision casting

Helping individuals, churches or sports people in churches catch the vision and understand the opportunity for sports mission & help identify individuals who may be involved

2.    Strategy and Development

Working through what method or model would best fit the church, putting together a strategy for developing the work and helping churches and individuals be more intentional in sports outreach

3.    Training and Equipping

Providing evangelism training and resources, conferences, training days and working with youth leaders in helping them disciple their sporty young people

4.    Support

We are committed to working with individuals and churches long-term not just simply getting things off the ground.  We aim to offer support through advice, discussion, visits, resources, etc

5.    Resources

Providing resources to aid people in their evangelism to sports people - CD's, DVD's, books, web-downloads, assemblies

6.    Mission

We don't simply want to talk about it but to model it - outreach dinners & events, guest services and (where time allows) working alongside groups of churches to help aid them in their sports evangelism

We hope this helps you understand how Christians in Sport seeks to serve and support you and your church.  If we can help you with any of these areas do please get in touch.  We would love to talk more.

If you would like to take the next step and become an Associate Church then there are two main criteria:

Firstly, sports mission is taking place in your church - ie sports people

are committed to reaching lost sports people with the gospel,

ie Pray, Play, Say

·        Pray (people are praying for their non-Christian team mates)

·        Play (people are living in a way on and off the pitch that honours

      God)

·        Say (people are saying something of the good news of Christ to

      their friends)

Secondly, you would like the support of Christians in Sport as you look to continue / develop this work

Go well and keep believin' in the dream!!
