Adults and Professionals Conference 2009

Over the weekend Pray, Play, Sayers gathered together from around the country to think through what it means to get in the game of taking the gospel to the world of sport.

From a staff point of view it was a privilege to see people prepared to give up their busy time to come to the conference and we hope that the mixture of sport, teaching, seminars (& inevitable banter) made it worth while.

A delegate commented; ‘Teaching fabulous, networking awesome. Meeting and mixing with people who are full of Christ has refreshed me and inspired me and strengthened me to go out and build God's kingdom'

Some brief highlights include consecutive scoreless games of rugby-netball (probably because all the rugby players were watching the British lions test) good use of the sauna and spa facilities by the bath Pray, Play, Sayers and Danno falling off the stage during his talk!
