Friday 9th July 8.11am
Hi. Great day yesturday - in the morning long journey north, built some draining boards, cleaned a well and shared Jesus with families. Had a community lunch and then we perfomed a drama of the paralysed man and the greatest need. Then some epic sport followed with the toughest game of netball ever! Very funny! The game had to be stopped to take breath from laughing fits! The goal post rings were made of rubbber and every time the ball hit them obviously they collapsed. So a high scoring game of 3-2 to our opposition. The lads had a crazy game in what can only be described as a bowl with a small mountain on the right wing (not sure what Vics means here?!?!?!). The muzungu team 2-0 despite the ref giving his team an advantage of a second half lasting over an hour! We said goodbye to Geoff and Margetet this morning and are heading north again for a similar day of compassion work this morning and sport this afternoon. Amazing to be right in the middle of the Ugandan countryside seeing how villlage life work. Vics.
