From the M25/A10
Travelling clockwise - Take Junction 25 (A10 Cambridge/Enfield/Hertford). Follow the A10 northbound for approximately 7 miles. Take the turn off the A10 marked A414 Harlow/Chelmsford/Ware (South), and follow A414 signs to large roundabout with several exits. At this roundabout, take the B181 to Stanstead Abbotts. Go straight through the village over the railway (passing St Margaret's station on your left) and at the end of the High Street turn left at a mini roundabout onto Cappell Lane. The college drive is approximately half a mile down this road, on the right hand side as you leave the village.
Travelling anti-clockwise - Take Junction 27 for the M11 North and follow the directions below.
From the M11
Exit at Junction 7 (Harlow), follow the A414 for approximately 5 miles (8km) through Harlow, out the other side towards Hertford and then exit onto the B181 for Stanstead Abbotts. As you come into the village, at the roundabout, turn right onto Cappell Lane. The college drive is approximately half a mile down this road, on the right hand side as you leave the village.

From M1/A1
Either follow the directions around the M25 as above, or make your way across country to the A10 and follow the instructions as above. Make sure you take the correct turn off the A10 for the A414 - there are two!
By Rail
From Liverpool Street Station in London, take the Hertford East line to St. Margaret's Station, Hertfordshire (approx. 45mins). Note that there is more than one St Margaret's station in the UK. The College is two miles from the station. Taxis are available from both Ware and St Margaret's stations if required. We will be doing pick ups from the station and will coordinating this nearer the time.
By Air
The closest airports by road are Stansted (22 miles) and Luton (39 miles), and by train, Gatwick and Heathrow. Some help is given below, or you can investigate internet directions from each place.
From Gatwick take a train to London Victoria. Take the Victoria Line Underground to Tottenham Hale (or Seven Sisters) and then take a train to St. Margaret's station.
From Heathrow take the Piccadilly Line Underground to Finsbury Park Station. Change to the Victoria Line Underground to get to Tottenham Hale and then take a train to St Margaret's station. Alternatively, the Greenline Bus 724 (Heathrow to Stansted Airport) leaves from Heathrow Central Bus Station and makes stops at Stanstead Abbotts and Ware.
From Stansted Airport a train and bus service is available. Check with the airport ticket office for details. The Stanstead Express stopping train goes to Roydon, about 5 miles from college, from where you can take a taxi.
Travel via public transport from Luton airport requires a lot of work and we would only recommend this airport if car / taxi transport is available.
