In over 60 universities across the UK, Christian university sports players are meeting together on a weekly basis to pray for each other and their sporting friends, look at the Bible together to encourage one another as they live out their faith in sport and train each other to better share Christ in the university sports culture.
• We provide a yearly manual for groups of suggested Bible studies all with the aim to equip students in every aspect of Pray, Play, Say. These are used by the group in their 1hr weekly sessions
• We visit groups and lead their meetings once or twice a term to serve the group leaders and motivate the groups for the mission. Alongside this we meet up with group leaders and members on an individual basis to pray with them and to see how we can serve their own personal Pray, Play, Say
• We make sure students are aware of the resources available to them as they share Christ in their teams and clubs
As well as supporting current university groups, we also seeking to pioneer groups at other universities. We aim to establish contact with Christians involved in university sport and share the vision of Pray, Play, Say, with them.
We are also investigating the potential for students of Higher Education Colleges to meet together and support and encourage each other as Christian sports players to share the gospel. We are currently trying to get a feel of what this might look like, and how best we are able to serve them as they represent Christ in their teams and clubs - watch this space!
