More Than Gold

We are fully committed to supporting the Olympic Games in 2012. It’s exciting to read of one of the legacies for the Games being ‘to inspire a new generation to greater sporting activity and achievement’. If this legacy is successful sport will be bigger than it is today.

We have already fully committed ourselves to serving the ‘More Than Gold’ initiative. This is the organisation set up to coordinate the response of the UK Christian Community.

We will also work closely with the global sports mission partners as they prepare for London 2012.

We want to help ensure that the governing authorities see a good model of Christian ministry at the Games in order to ensure a healthy legacy for Christian involvement in future major sports events across the world.
