Sports Plus is a week of specialist sports coaching and team competitions for young people who are serious about sport and play regularly in a club or team. Sports Plus is the perfect way to improve in your sport, while exploring more about the Christian faith and what it means to be a Christian sports player.

*As a guideline those who wish to do triathlon should be able to swim 200m without stopping, competently ride a bike, run 1500m without stopping and have previously completed a multi sport event. Please note all bike sessions will be on turbo trainers.

^This will be a limited opportunity for a small group of scullers who would like to improve their single and crew skills for performance at, or progression towards, GB Junior trials.

There are over five hours of sport a day and so we want to ensure that young people have the stamina to meet the demands of the week, enabling them to progress in their sport. We expect young people to select a sport they play regularly in a club or team and if a young person does not play their chosen sport regularly in a club or team we will contact the parent/guardian to discuss whether Sports Plus is a suitable camp for the young person and may request a reference from a coach/PE teacher to support the booking. If you would like to discuss this before making a booking please contact the office using the details below.

Sports Plus is for young people in the following school years in January 2019:

 - Year 7 to Year 12 (England & Wales)
 - Year 8 to Year 13 (Northern Ireland)
 - 6th Class to 5th Year (Ireland)
 - P7 to S5 (Scotland)

Please note young people must be aged 17 or under to attend Sports Plus. Those in the school years above who turn 18 prior to the start of Sports Plus should apply to the Trainee programme.

Sports Plus camps in the UK cost £300 for each young person, with a reduced rate of £165 also available. Dublin Sports Plus costs €340; with a reduced rate of €185. The reduced rate is subsidised by the Sports Plus Bursary Fund and is accessible for families to which the full cost is not affordable.
