Real joy

Real Joy is a book for the serious sportsperson. As the title suggests, the author believes that real joy for the athlete is found in allowing Jesus Christ to be at the centre of all of life – including the sports life.

The first chapter called “The road to burn-out” shows how an athlete can lose all joy in their sport. Further chapters “What makes us tick” and “Christ our new life” help us to find real joy in life and in sport. The book makes an important contribution to how to relate sport and faith from the player’s perspective. We thoroughly recommend it. Hardback.
