Web address: www.easm.co.uk
Event: Football World Cup Outreach
Date and time: From 10 June-09 July 06
Location: Emmanuel Church Centre, Forrest Rd, Loughborough
Event description: We are showing every England football game throughout the World Cup plus the final, live, for free, on a very big screen in the church centre. We are providing free BBQ and drinks, welcoming families and students alike to come and share in the fun! Anyone can bring their own food and drink as well, the more the merrier! The aim is to provide a chance for church members to invite their friends and family into the church in a non-threatening way, to share in something that most people will want to be part of in one way or another. It will be a family-friendly, smoke-free environment in which all are welcome and hopefully many will come. This is also the biggest sports ministry event this church has ever embarked on - it is a very exciting time for the church, hopefully we can build on this for future events.
