Why the Academy?: I chose the academy because it is
an opportunity of a lifetime. It's a chance to grow and
learn in my faith, play sport and have great banter with
other legends! These 6 months will be awesome times getting
the Bible open and having great times whilst getting better
at glorifying God in my sport.

Why the Academy?: I wanted to do some mission work
and thought doing something relating to sport, and with my
great interest in it, was a top idea! I also want to learn
more and develop in my faith and relationship with God, and
have some quality study and teaching time to prepare me for
the future, which I believe doing the Academy will help
with! Also to meet lots of new people, bring myself out of
my comfort zone some more and be a witness through it all,
as well as having a lot of banter of the highest order!

Academy?: I have a passion for sport and a passion for
Christ and know that Christians in Sport is a perfect

Why the Academy:
Because it can be so hard when you first
leave school, maybe go off to uni and suddenly you're out
there on your own. Doing the academy is just an amazing gap
year opportunity to get so much support, teaching and just
the chance to learn so much about the only thing that
matters in this life for 6 whole months! And obviously the
amazing banter and lifelong friendships we'll make! :) Can't
wait!! |

Why the Academy?: The Academy for me seemed a great
way to spend 6 months. I love sport, Jesus and Sports Plus
camps so it was a clear choice! I’m not going to university
so wanted to do something purposeful and meaningful to set
me up and prepare me for everything the University of Life
will throw at me, hopefully with some top class banter along
the way!!

wanted to take a year out before uni and I saw the
academy as a great way to build my faith and get fired
