Friends!!

This week we’re gonna take a breather from the series that we’re looking at – “Know the Truth”

It’s a quick one, and watching the World Cup has reminded me of such a question once again.

World Cup 2006 – 'lovin' it! The excitement, the passion, the flair, the hope of England going all the way all add up to make this the greatest football tournament of our time! Excited??

It’s quality to witness a good football player – the skills, the ‘zipped in’ passes, the balance, the awareness. Yet it doesn’t last forever - football players come and go. In 50 years time, they will become a name in a record book, flourished and faded into history from most memories. Fame is temporary and so is life. Everyone has their time and then it is past.

This is what the Bible says:

“As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and its place remembers it no more” Psalm 103v15, 16

The Bible is quite clear – Life is short and every person needs Jesus.

What a thrill to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and then enjoy every blessing he throws our way!!

Keep the heat up on your friends – they need to know Jesus and it could be you to introduce Him to them!!

Have a great week!

We’re Germany bound to follow the England!!

Go well,

The Youth Department
