Hey Champs!! Do hope you’re pressing on well in Jesus this week! We’ll get straight to it this week – In our quest to represent Jesus better in our sport through the framework of Pray, Play, Say – we are now in the area of ‘Say’. Yet before we try and help you be better at communicating the good news we need to know the good news inside and out – series Title = “Know the Truth.” We’re at statement 5 this week: ‘Know the Truth’ 1 – God is God 2 – God is the creator of all things 3 – Man was originally created to be in perfect relationship with God 4 – Man has rejected God and His rule 5 – Man’s punishment is death and judgement. I‘m afraid it’s more bad news for us this week. Yet we really need to grasp this fully to appreciate the good news which is just round the corner!! Hebrews 9v27 says ‘Man is destined to die once and after this face judgement’ There is only one fact that I know about you as I write – that one day you will die. I know it’s a morbid fact but its absolutely true. And it's by far the biggest problem man faces. People often jump to the fact that they cant accept a God who punishes people for their sins. Well, I’m glad that I serve a God who wants to put wrong things to right. People don’t accept their position before God. You and I have turned our backs on God – we deserve the due punishment which is death and God’s judgement after that which should be hell!! These are the facts!! Wait will we get to next weeks news to understand the enormity of this bad news!! So – Are you bothered about friends
around you will die and face an eternity without God???
