The first sports on offer are: Cricket, Hockey & Rugby

There are over five hours of sport a day and so we want to ensure that young people have the stamina to meet the demands of the week, enabling them to progress in their sport. We expect young people to select a first sport they play regularly in a club or team and if they do not we will contact the parent/guardian to discuss whether Sports Plus is a suitable camp for the young person. If you would like to discuss this before making a booking please contact the office using the details below.

Please note it may be necessary to withdraw sports from the list offered if we do not receive sufficient bookings and are therefore unable to run viable coaching sessions. In this instance those booked will be offered an alternative option.

Age

Belfast 2 Sports Plus is for young people in Year 8 to Year 13 in January 2026; or equivalent years if a young person attends school outside of Northern Ireland.

Please note young people who are in Year 13 in January 2026 but turn 18 in the summer, prior to the start of Sports Plus, may attend as young people.

Booking Process

Bookings open at 1pm on Monday 19th January and there will be a 7-day window (closing at 9am on Mon 26th Jan) for forms to be completed - we will not start allocating places until the booking window closes. For each camp, all bookings received in the window will be split by age, sex and sport and if bookings for a specific group exceed the number of places available then places will be offered by a random selection process.

Price

Full rate: £410 Reduced rate: £235 Day places: £185

The reduced rate, which is subsidised by the Sports Plus Bursary Fund, is accessible for families to which the full cost is not affordable. You will be asked to select which rate you plan to pay when completing the booking form and this is what we will request when asking for payment. Payment can also be made in instalments over the course of a number of months. The price includes all accommodation, food, sport and activities. The only additional costs will be money for the tuckshop but this is entirely optional.
